Shadow Shot Sunday 60/2 – Revisiting a Visit to the Past
Some of you may recognize this from my old blog as an entry to Sepia Scenes. I’m in the middle of adding my old photos to the gallery, and I saw this image, which just screamed for submission to Shadow Shot Sunday.
Never one to ignore high frequency sounds, I quickly complied.
This was shot in the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, location of one of the many important clashes of the Civil War. General Sherman was stalemated here on his way to Atlanta despite far outnumbering the Confederates. Home field advantage? Yes indeed.
Thinking of the many battles fought throughout history, I wonder if technology or tactics plays a more important part in deciding a victor.

Marvelous shadow shot!Great bit of history! Thanks for sharing! Have a great Sunday!
